Job Matching/Placement and Incentives

These services are available to individuals who are unlikely to succeed in conducting their own job search for a variety of reasons that may include a lack of experience or real or perceived barriers to employment.

For job seekers, job matching will provide:

  • Help in matching the individual skills and interests with employment opportunities
  • Facilitation and negotiations of potential employment agreements
  • On-the-job training opportunities
  • Placement support in resolving workplace issues to ensure a successful match
  • Support to remove work related barriers

For employers, job matching will provide:

  • Assistance in developing an on-the-job training plan that is consistent with the workplace requirements and realistic for the participant’s capabilities
  • Pre-screened Individuals with assessed skills, aptitudes, and interests that relate to their business needs
  • Support in identifying and resolving workplace issues that may arise after hire
  • Mentoring and coaching support during and after the placement
  • Financial incentives to offset some of the costs associated with on-the-job training, where appropriate and necessary
