The WorkPlace - Carrying the message of equitable employment to business, the community and job seekers with disabilities.


Corporate Profile

Our staff of dedicated professionals have prepared individuals for “WorkPlace” success since 1976.  We are a non-profit, charitable organization operating under an Executive Board of Directors.  The goal of The WorkPlace is to help people with disabilities find work.  

Our services are client-focused and are delivered in an encouraging and supportive setting.

If you are a person with a disability and need assistance with your job search, please contact us to explore our programs and services.  All services are offered at no charge.

We are members of ONESTEP (Ontario Network of Employment Skills Training Projects), the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce, Ontario March of Dimes, HRPAO – Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario and the Volunteer Co-ordinator’s Association

The WorkPlace is a Project delivered by Special Needs Employment Service Inc. and is located in downtown Sarnia.  Our partner organization, The WorkPlace County Outreach, serves rural Lambton and is located in Petrolia.
